Dancing Queen!

Ella loves to dance. She loves to dress up in her dresses, shoes, gymnastic outfits, and my dresses and shoes. She likes to watch "Dancing with the Stars." She makes me wait to see what their scores are. Currently she is in dance on Thursday nights, but I have to call it Ballot. Daddy and her have been practicing her lifts in the basement.

7 Months!

Ben is 7 months old today. Amazing! He is such a good boy and adorable as ever. He has two teeth on the bottom. He loves to eat. He can roll over both ways now and is talking and screaming up a storm.

First Day Of Preschool!!

Ella had her first day of School today. This week is just a "getting to know you" week and an adult needs to stay with them. Grandma Sandi came down and took her today. She loved it. She got her first book order and can't wait to order a book. She was disappointed there was no snack break this week. She took in her $10.00 for milk money....for the year! I would have loved to have gone with her but have 11 boys of my own depending on me this week. BTW... I love my 11 boys so far. I think it is going to be a great year for Ella and me.

Open House

Tonight was Ella's open house for her preschool at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton. We walked into her room and it was filled with areas to play. She right away ran to the kitchen area. Then she ran to the art area, and to the table area, then back to the kitchen area. Trevor and I laughed at her and knew she was overwhelmed. Her teacher is the mom to a boy I had in home base years ago and Trevor coached in football. We are excited for her. She kept asking if she can go back tomorrow? Why can't I go back tomorrow? How many days until I go back to my school? I really think she is just going to love school. And I only teared up once watching her.

Week of stress!

This has been one stressful week. The week back to work always is for me. I never have enough time to prepare for my students. I am hoping that once next week starts, I will be more stress free. I am very excited however, for the first time, about my students and starting school. Wish me luck. I'll keep you posted.
