Let's Roll!

My sub came in today and stayed all day. It was a long day of trying to explain everything about my 9 student, the schedule, the paras, the curriculum, and the school into one day. She is subbing for me on Monday and Wednesday, so she will get a few days in before she takes over. I feel better and now can relax and hope it helps bring this boy faster into the world. There is a poll going around as to when Ben will be born. Everyone who took part has a date before the 9th. I hope they are all right. I do have paper work to still finish this week and conferences, but I don't care anymore. I want him out!! Pray for a soon removal day of my baby!!!

I had a 36 week doctor's appointment today. It was for Monday but I moved it up because of all the discomfort an pain I am in. I have extreme pain on top of my belly, Dr. doesn't know why. My ribs hurt, my legs hurt, I hurt in private places, expected of course. So today I had the "big check" and nothing is happening. I had to be checked today for toxemia because of my protein levels. I had to schedule another Ultra Sound, because of the pain in my stomach. I get to come back again next Wednesday. With Ella my water broke 2 days after this exam. So lets hope two days from now, I'm having a baby--but I'm not counting on it. Doctor did say I should think about going on bed rest. I told him, "not this week Doc, I have paper work to do." Maybe next week! ( I doubt it!) Ok--done complaining. I'll keep you posted.

Ella loves corn on the cob. She had it tonight as her main dish. She ate 2 of the half size cobs and licked all the butter off the plate.

We have finished the baby's room and Ella's room downstairs. Of course she says she'll sleep down there when Ben comes. Daddy says she has to start this weekend. We'll see who wins that one. There are all the Disney Princesses all over the walls. The bedding is of crowns and castles.
The boy's rooms is in sports, my idea! Trevor did not want to paint the room he just pained a year ago. Once we found out it was a boy, the Turtle bedding I found to match the paint, just wasn't boyish enough for me. I found the border to match, and we think it's adorable.

Oh Boy!

I went in today for an ultra sound. The Dr. wanted to see position of baby and size. Well, Ben's head is far below my pubic bone. So that's what is causing the extreme pain and discomfort I feel "down there" when I walk. I about fell off the table when the ultra sound tech. said he is already 6 lbs 11 ounces. He is at the 36 weeks 6 days stage. She started to type 37 weeks on the pictures for the Dr. I stopped her and reminded her I'm only 34 weeks tomorrow. She looked at me and said,"I'm not a doctor, but I don't think you will make it to your c-section." Reminder that is scheduled for Feb. 19th. Here are some cool 3-D pics of Ben. Not the best because he is squashed under my pubic bone and his arms are covering his face. I'm leaving the picture of his "privates" off the blog.

She really wants a dog.

Yesterday Ella and I went to Coborns after school. She always spots dogs in cars and points them out. She would give anything for a dog, we wouldn't. She loves Tash, her grandparent's dog. She saw this big brown dog in a car barking and says "Mom, if you don't want the baby anymore, then we can get a dog, right?" I explained to her that it's a little too late for that, and we are keeping the baby. Some of you might remember, Trevor and I tried the new puppy thing for about one week, then when the dog had too many health issues, Trevor took her back. Maybe some day when the kids are older and I don't have a husband who coaches for sports a year, we may try a dog.

Ella wanted this on up at Zack's house on Sunday. She wouldn't take it off. It is from another cousin, about two years ago. Lance managed to get her in it.

Happy New Year!

A few pictures from our New Year's Eve. We went to the 400 Club with friends and listened to a band. We made it until 12:02 even! Our friend Kris was having a good time. I enjoyed my brownie and ice cream--I did not share! Trevor just got his own. (Andrea, I thought you'd enjoy that picture, I thought of you.)

The Date is Set!

We met with Dr. Bakker today and our date for out C-Section is February 19th. Of course feel free to make bets if our son waits that long. His sister was 3 1/2 weeks early and was still 7lbs 8 oz.
But it is reality now. Pictures to come later of his bedroom that Trevor painted for two days, words were not appropriate coming out of his mouth!
