What we bought with our garage sale money!!

Here is what we bought so far with our garage sale money. Trevor is very excited about his new grill. He is also very happy to have a door on the bathroom linen closet down stairs (bathroom is done!). I was very happy to get a new sofa table for upstairs and moved the old one to the family room. Still some left to shop with--or pay off a bill.

Another weekend at the lake!

We had another fun weekend at the lake! Weather could have been a bit more cooperative. Maybe next weekend will be better for the 4th!

First Twins Game

We took Ella to her first Twins game today. Trevor has been waiting to take her. They watch them together
at night. Right away when we got there she sees T.C. (the bear) and she shouts out, "Daddy, there's the beaver!" She wanted everything to eat, but had a snow cone and a pretzel with cheese. We stayed until the end of the 7th inning so she could sing "Take me out to the ball game." On the way home Trevor asked if she wanted to go to a game again. She said, "no, but only on another Father's Day."

Weekend at the Lake

We had a great weekend at the lake. Ben and Ella were spoiled by all their grandparents. We went to the Fergus Falls parade on Saturday night and to Dairyland to eat. We enjoyed playing in the sand and going on a pontoon ride. Ella played with her cousin's Zack, Emily, and Megan. The weather could not have been any nicer!

New things I can do!

Ben has tried cereal this week. He eats constantly so we tried some cereal. He did not know what to do with it yet. He had an ear infection so is on his first Amoxicillin. Then he decided he would roll over not once, but twice. I went down stairs and he was on his back. I came back up and he was on his stomach. Later that night I watched him roll over again. He has been doing so good standing up on our knees. Now if he would only sleep more than 3 hours at night at one time, we'd be doing great! I even had water in my bottle. Ben, like his sister, has trouble going #2. So he got some water (also because he cost $14.00 a day to feed) and he sucked that down. Then the Dr. Lee said put some prune juice in his bottle with formula, yuck. Nope, he downed that like the water.

Another One Bites the Dust!

Today was the last day of school. I have now completed 8 years of teaching. This year was a year I waited to end. I enjoyed being on maternity leave, dreaded coming back, and am glad it's over. I will miss one or two of my kids, but I'm sure glad to be getting a new group next year. Now summer is here and my mind is crazy with everything I want to get done. June will be very busy. July always goes fast, and by August I'm nervous and stressed to get back to school. I'm excited to go places with Ella and Ben. I'm excited for Ben to start cereal soon and then some baby food in August. I'm excited for our best friend's new baby girl coming in July. I am most excited for getting a little extra sleep and taking naps. I also have hopes of losing the baby weight I still have yet to get off--exercising may have to actually happen now that it's summer. And tomorrow night many of us will celebrate and get silly on our first pub crawl. I plan to be one of them getting a bit silly.
