Today I got home from shopping with my friends and just turned on the t.v. with the first round of Jeopardy coming on. I think it was college or teen week because I even knew the answers to some of the questions. Here is one that I was so proud of knowing thanks to the Olympics.

My Olympic Dream!

I decided tonight that if I could be an Olympian in one sport I want it to be in the Trampoline. I can't believe how high they go and spin. Ella and I sat and watched that and were so impressed. Ella wants to now be in "nastics" again. In my next life, I'm a trampoline Olympian.

It's My Birthday!

I had a good birthday. I had a party at school in the office that was way cool. Andrea made me two kinds of home made ice cream. Both out of this world delicious (raspberry and chocolate marshmellow) Thank you Andrea! I got a Dymo label maker that I have not opened because I'm scared of it. And I got some fun gift cards to go shopping with. But the best gifts were Kathy opening today and getting to go back to school.

School Dream!

Like my friend Andrea, I too have had a few dreams about returning to school. However none that scared me as bad as the TWO I had back to back last night. Both were about setting up my classroom. The first one was about all the staff had to go and help clean the school because it was open house day and it was not ready (has happened in the past). So I was the last one back into the building from helping with the grounds work. Everyone had gone home to get ready for the open house and I still had not cleaned or set up my classroom. The second dream last night was that I had to change classrooms. I switched with a teacher, who is not even a teacher, but a girl I graduated high school with. She had so many pictures taped to the walls and I had to peel all the tape off. And she had art projects from students all over the walls that were masks and sculptures made from wood. So tomorrow, on my 31st b-day, (because it's just another day), I am going to school. Ella goes back to Kathy's tomorrow (yea!!), and I am going to my classroom to clean. For some odd reason, I am excited to spend my birthday in my classroom. Maybe I should think about what I'm going to teach, and not worrying so much about the dust bunnies everywhere. But I have to clean first in order to process the school year next. I guess this means summer is officially over for me. Way too fast as always. Did not get anything done on my list of projects and did not get to the zoo. There is always Sept. for the zoo!

We went to the Wiggle's Concert last week. We had great seats, 5th row. Ella loved it! She danced and was so excited.

Week of Events

I need to get better and posting more often instead of once per week. So here is our week or more of posts. Today we are leaving for the Wiggles concert--Ella is dressed and ready to go and it's 9:30. The concert is at 3:00. Last year we went and were up high--today we are IN THE 5TH ROW!! Anthony Wiggle--you are HOT!

We went last week to see Dora and Diego at M.O.A. Ella would not go by Diego. Zack and Kristi had a great time with us. Kristi got to go on all the rides with the kids. I think she had more fun!

Relaxed!

I got back yesterday from 2 days of relaxing at a lake with my 3 best friends. We had a great time. We relaxed by the lake, in the lake, on grass, on couches (Ok I did the couch laying). We ate, they drank, we played board games, and learned a super fun new card game.(We are all addicted to the game.) I did many "People Magazine," crossword puzzles and did a tiny bit of work. I have not had this much fun in a long time, or talked this much either. I laughed so hard at times I cried. To sum it all up--it was wonderful, relaxing, and very much needed. It is now going to be our summer tradition.
