School Dream!

Like my friend Andrea, I too have had a few dreams about returning to school. However none that scared me as bad as the TWO I had back to back last night. Both were about setting up my classroom. The first one was about all the staff had to go and help clean the school because it was open house day and it was not ready (has happened in the past). So I was the last one back into the building from helping with the grounds work. Everyone had gone home to get ready for the open house and I still had not cleaned or set up my classroom. The second dream last night was that I had to change classrooms. I switched with a teacher, who is not even a teacher, but a girl I graduated high school with. She had so many pictures taped to the walls and I had to peel all the tape off. And she had art projects from students all over the walls that were masks and sculptures made from wood. So tomorrow, on my 31st b-day, (because it's just another day), I am going to school. Ella goes back to Kathy's tomorrow (yea!!), and I am going to my classroom to clean. For some odd reason, I am excited to spend my birthday in my classroom. Maybe I should think about what I'm going to teach, and not worrying so much about the dust bunnies everywhere. But I have to clean first in order to process the school year next. I guess this means summer is officially over for me. Way too fast as always. Did not get anything done on my list of projects and did not get to the zoo. There is always Sept. for the zoo!
