Ella had a rough and expensive weekend. First of all, she has a cold. Sunday she complained her ear hurt. So I took her to the walk-in clinic in the snow storm ($35 co-pay) Yes, she has an ear infection, Omincef ($20). Then this morning she woke up and her eyes were all crusted shut and she couldn't open them. Back to the Dr. ($35 co-pay). Drops--$20. Are you adding it up? But mommy and her have slept in the same bed the last few nights so mom's eyes are itching too. No Dr. appointment needed, but got drops for me ($40!!). What!???!! So our two day total for being sick is $150.00!
